TRAINING
Rosanna is a UK based intimacy coordinator on the Bectu IC Registry.

She is certified with SAG-AFTRA accredited Intimacy Director’s & Coordinators in New York, and holds a diploma with Theatrical Intimacy Education.
MENTORSHIP & GUIDANCE
As part of her training with IDC, Rosanna completed a 1:1 mentorship period with Claire Warden (Three Women, And Just Like That).

In 2023 she was selected for the Bectu Professional Intimacy Guidance Scheme, designed for IC's with under 2 years experience. This included 1:1 guidance over 6 months with Lucy Fennell (All of Us Strangers, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story).

INTERDISCIPLINARY BACKGROUND
Rosanna's unique blend of experience offers an interdisciplinary approach, tailored to the needs of a production.
MOVEMENT & PERFORMANCE:
Rosanna is a qualified embodiment teacher with in-depth understanding of somatics, which supports her work with the body and actors in performance.

She is qualified in unarmed screen combat through the British Association of Stage and Screen Combat (BASSC).

Rosanna has trained in movement with Frantic Assembly. She studied professional acting, movement, dance artistry, mask technique, choreography and notation (Laban & Bartenieff), through numerous courses and organisations including The Unseen Acting School, RADA, Creative Re:work and IDC.

FILM:
Rosanna has supported on professional sets from the age of 16 across production and costume.

Throughout her 20s, she worked as full-time crew in costume, where the foundational elements of IC work in film were unfolding. Her work included The Edge of Love, Bright Star and The Duchess which won an Academy Award and a BAFTA for costume in 2009.

These experiences gave Rosanna a practical and creative understanding of collaborating on large scale productions, working with actors and supporting directorial vision.
PSYCHOTHERAPY:
An accredited psychotherapist (MBACP, UKCP), Rosanna trained with the Tavistock & Portman NHS Trust, achieving an MA with Distinction.
Whilst an IC is not a therapist, Rosanna's expertise help with exploring consent, supporting cast and crew dynamics and communication.
